Rev. Mark Ramsey serves as the Executive Director of The Ministry Collaborative, a national initiative that supports pastors and congregations across more than 23 denominations. With over three decades of pastoral experience, Rev. Ramsey has led churches in East Lansing, MI; Denver, CO; Oak Park, IL; Asheville, NC; and Austin, TX. He began his ministry as an associate pastor in Bethesda, MD.

A graduate of the University of Virginia and Princeton Theological Seminary, Rev. Ramsey is a trusted voice in mainline Protestant leadership and an active contributor to theological discourse. He serves as the publisher of the Journal for Preachers, succeeding its founder Erskine Clarke, and has written for well-regarded series such as Feasting on the Gospels and Connections. He frequently leads retreats, preaches at national gatherings, and facilitates workshops on spiritual leadership, including for the Montreat Conference Center.

Alongside his wife Elizabeth Lynn, Rev. Ramsey co-authors the weekly blog Digging a Deeper Well, offering spiritual insights for church leaders. He also serves on the Board of Trustees at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

Rev. Ramsey’s work reflects a deep commitment to nurturing faithful, courageous congregational life. He lives in Georgia and is the proud father of Bridget, who resides in New York City.
