The Rev. Dr. Annemarie Kidder is a Presbyterian minister serving since 2018 as interim pastor of Pennfield Presbyterian Church in Battle Creek, MI. Earlier she served other churches in Michigan and Ohio.

A native of Germany, Annemarie earned degrees in communications in her home country, as well as a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and her M.Div. and Ph.D. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. For six years she was associate professor an at Ecumenical Theological Seminary in Detroit.

A translator of the works of Rainer Maria Rilke, she is the author or editor of numerous books including Women, Celibacy, and the Church, The Power of Solitude, Making Confession/Hearing Confession, and Ultimate Price: Christians Who Resisted the Third Reich.
