The Rev. Dr. Stephen R. Montgomery is senior pastor of Idlewild Presbyterian Church in Memphis, Tennessee, where he has served since 2000. He earlier served churches in Tucker and Doraville, GA, and Buckhorn, Kentucky.
An active leader in the communities he serves, Steve is also an adjunct faculty member at Memphis Theological Seminary. He earned his master of divinity degree from Yale Divinity School, and a doctor of ministry from Columbia Seminary, where he serves on the board of trustees.
