The Rev. William G. Wilson is the president of the Center for Congregational Health, Inc., based in Winston-Salem, NC.
Bill was born in Louisville, Kentucky, a Baptist Minister's son. He attended high school in Franklin, Tennessee and graduated from Murray State University in Kentucky. Bill earned a Master of Divinity degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville. In 2007 he earned the Doctor of Ministry degree from The Graduate Theological Foundation in South Bend, Indiana. He has done additional post-graduate study at Regents Park College in Oxford, England. He is a Certified Facilitator for the Covey Leadership Center, an experienced leadership trainer, and a certified leadership coach.
Bill's wife Kathy is a teacher and native of Kentucky. Bill and Kathy have three children, Jennifer, Brent and Ryan.
Before coming the Center, Bill was senior pastor of First Baptist Church, Dalton, GA. Bill's career has included Minister of Youth and Recreation at First Baptist Church of Greenville, South Carolina and Pastor of Farmville Baptist Church in Farmville, Virginia, as well as Pastor of First Baptist Waynesboro, Virginia.
